P & G Japan, a major household goods manufacturer, announced that it will voluntarily collect about 190,000 bottles of dry shampoo that does not use water and is manufactured in the United States because it may contain benzene, which is a harmful substance.

P & G Japan has announced that it will voluntarily collect the "Pantene Miracles Volume Dry Shampoo," a spray-type dry shampoo that does not use water.

According to the company, this product is manufactured in the United States and imported to Japan, but benzene, a toxic substance, was detected in some of the products.

Benzene seems to have been mixed in during the manufacturing process, and it is said that there is no risk of health damage in a small amount, but it was decided to voluntarily collect the product in the United States.

In response to this, about 190,000 bottles manufactured and imported at the same factory at the same time will be voluntarily collected in Japan, and the serial number will be disclosed on the website.

P & G Japan commented, "We deeply apologize for the great concern and inconvenience caused to our customers and retailers. We will sincerely respond to returns."
