  After the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel is another cross-sea traffic cluster project with complex technical conditions and high environmental protection requirements. The tunnel is 5.1 kilometers in length and consists of 18 immersed pipes.

After the completion of the Dalian Bay Subsea Tunnel, it will add a new express channel running through the north to the south for Dalian, which is of great significance for alleviating traffic pressure, optimizing city functions, and promoting the integrated construction of Dalian Bay on both sides of the strait.

  As the largest municipal project in the entire submarine tunnel, the main function of the land engineering is to connect the important link of the municipal roads after the submarine tunnel goes ashore from north to south. In order not to affect the travel of surrounding citizens and the normal operation of nearby administrative units, the project team divided the project into 7 construction sections and chose the method of traffic diversion and flow adjustment for construction.
