  After a preliminary analysis of the domestic aircraft dismantling market, in May 2021, the Anhui branch of China Eastern Airlines conducted a serious analysis of the feasibility of developing the A320 dismantling project, combined with the existing capabilities of the technical Anhui branch, and decided to develop aircraft dismantling Projects, strive to obtain project permits in a short time.

  The Anhui branch of China Eastern Technology Company visited domestic enterprises with relevant qualifications to collect information and set up a manual group, a work card group, a training authorization group, a tooling and aviation materials group, and a certification group.

Afterwards, they successively completed the assessment of tooling equipment, personnel training and related qualifications for the dismantling of the A320 aircraft, completed various preparations for the dismantling of the A320 series aircraft, and passed the project review and authorization of the bureau.

  On August 12, the "A319/A320/A321 series aircraft dismantling capability" project of China Eastern Airlines Technology Company Anhui Branch officially passed the authorization of the Civil Aviation Anhui Supervision Bureau, which can independently perform the dismantling work of Airbus A320 series aircraft.

The air-conditioning system, electronic controllers, computers, and hydraulic systems have been dismantled in the early stage, and the wings and fuel tanks are being dismantled in the near future.

  Xu Dongbin said that about 90% of the parts or materials of an aircraft can be recycled and reused. The most valuable parts include engines, landing gears, actuators and other components, as well as electronic equipment such as autopilots and navigation. After being repaired and passing the flight adaptability test, it can be used as aeronautical materials to return to the aviation market and enter the circulation link for reuse.
