The Central Bank said that MIR cards are accepted in 14 countries

“In 2021, measures were continued to expand the geography and the network of accepting cards of the MIR payment system; by now, outside the Russian Federation, the cards of the MIR payment system have been accepted in 14 foreign countries, including all the countries of the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union),” TASS quotes Baryshkova.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian-Thai working group on banking and financial cooperation outlined further steps to organize the acceptance of cards of the MIR payment system in Thailand.
