Wu Shijiang, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transportation, said that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the construction of a green and low-carbon transportation system will be accelerated.
By 2025, it is estimated that the operating mileage of urban rail transit will be increased by 300 kilometers.
The total operating mileage of Beijing's rail transit including suburban railways will reach 1,600 kilometers.
At the same time, optimize the ground bus line network, shorten the transfer distance between bus stations and subway stations, and add parking lots for car parking and transfer in suburban railways and remote subway stations.
