7.4 billion dirhams of Dubai real estate transactions in a week

Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department amounted to more than 7.4 billion dirhams. This week, the department witnessed the registration of 1,644 pledges of allegiance, valued at 4.15 billion dirhams, of which 113 were pledged allegiance to land, with a value of 606.56 million dirhams, and 1531 allegiances to apartments and villas, with a value of 3.54 billion dirhams.

The most important land sales of AED 58 million were in the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area, followed by a pledge of AED 45 million in the Palm Jumeirah area, and a pledge of AED 33 million in the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area.

Jebel Ali First region topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, with 28 pledges of 87 million dirhams, followed by Al Yafra 2 with 13 pledges of 16 million dirhams, followed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens with 11 pledges of 203 million dirhams.

With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a pledge of 43 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area came as the most important pledge, followed by a pledge of 31 million dirhams in the second Jumeirah area, and finally a pledge of 30 million dirhams in the third Umm Suqeim area.

The Business Bay region topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 166 sales with a value of 241 million dirhams, followed by the Dubai Marina region with 133 sales with a value of 355 million dirhams, and thirdly in Al Habiya Fourth, with 106 sales with a value of 173 million dirhams.

Mortgages recorded a value of 3.01 billion dirhams, including 78 mortgages of land, worth 685.09 million dirhams, and 248 mortgages for villas and apartments, with a value of 2.33 billion dirhams.

As for the donations, 107 donations worth 266.54 million dirhams were registered, the most important of which were in the Island 2 area with a value of 115 million dirhams, and another in the Burj Khalifa area with a value of 27 million dirhams.
