Rosstat: annual inflation in Russia in November accelerated to 8.4%

According to TASS, in monthly terms, consumer prices increased by 0.96%.

In November, food prices increased by 1.27% compared to October and by 10.81% in annual terms, while prices for non-food products increased by 0.72 and 8.32%, respectively.

In early November, Rosstat noted the acceleration of inflation to 1.11% in monthly terms.

Economist Yuri Ershov in an interview with FBA "Economics Today" said that accelerated inflation in Russia could slow down by the spring of 2022.
