Developing a new model of car is expensive, very expensive even.

In the case of Mazda, it's even more than that, since the 2 Hybrid is simply a rebadged Toyota Yaris Hybrid.
If usually, the front and rear faces are modified to give the vehicle its own personality, this is not the case here because only the Mazda logos allow it to be distinguished.
On the engine side, it is therefore the 1.5 hybrid of 116 hp that was chosen, ideal for lowering the brand's CO2 average.
This Mazda 2 hybrid will be marketed alongside the current 2 “100% Mazda” but does not replace it in any way.
