A joint statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been published on the Kremlin's website.
“The parties stressed the need to start negotiations on an agreement on free trade in goods between the Eurasian Economic Union and the Republic of India,” the document says.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin in talks with the Prime Minister of India said that Moscow intends to develop military cooperation with New Delhi.
