  Mujia High-speed Railway is located in the eastern part of Heilongjiang Province. It is part of the Shenyang-Jiamusi high-speed railway and is currently the easternmost high-speed railway in China. The line is 372 kilometers long and has a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour.

  The Mujia high-speed railway line passes through the branches of Changbai Mountain. The whole line is located in an alpine region, where frost heave and snow damage are frequent.

Since the start of construction in September 2017, the participating units have overcome the difficulties of geological disasters and successfully penetrated through a number of key control projects such as the longest Qixingfeng tunnel in Heilongjiang Province and the high-gas risk tunnel-Mashan Tunnel, ensuring the completion of the project on schedule .

There are 173 new bridges and 34 tunnels across the line, with a total length of 209 kilometers, accounting for 56.3% of the total length of the line.

  “There are 5 new stations on the Mujia High-speed Railway, which fully incorporates the ice and snow culture and regional characteristics in the station building design, achieving one station and one scene.” said Liu Jiaxin, head of design for Shuangyashan West Station, China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute, Shuangyashanxi The design concept of the station is "Agricultural and Forestry Land, Prosperous Coal City". The architectural form extracts the form of mountains. The interior design fully integrates the Northeast Anti-Union culture, implying that the urban culture and red history will never be extinguished, showing the cultural heritage of Northeast China.

  In the early stage of the opening of Mujia High-speed Railway, 18 pairs of mobile trains will be arranged, with a maximum operating speed of 250 kilometers per hour.

Among them, there are 13 pairs of EMU trains operating in the province. For the first time, a ring EMU train will be opened between Harbin, Mudanjiang, and Jiamusi, and EMU trains will be opened on the Mujia high-speed rail to Daqing, Qiqihar and other places, realizing the interconnection of the high-speed rail network in the province; There are 5 pairs of EMU trains operating in the through-province direction, including: 1 pair from Jixi West to Beijing Chaoyang (Beijing), 1 pair from Shuangyashan West to Dalian North, 2 pairs from Qitaihe West to Dalian North, and 1 pair from Shuangyashan West to Shijiazhuang.

  After the opening of the Mujia high-speed railway, it will form the eastern high-speed railway loop line of Heilongjiang Province together with the existing Ha-Mu high-speed railway and the Ha-Jia railway. The transformation and upgrading of resource-based cities along the route will help the northeast to be fully and comprehensively rejuvenated.
