Next to the 4th road in the Guangbei North Application Workshop of the Guangzhou North Depot of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd., a young man wearing a reflective tape is holding a car inspection hammer and a flashlight, and sometimes bends down to inspect the vehicle. When traveling, sometimes raise your head to look up at the outer edge of the car body, and sometimes take a note of the fault information...
His name is Chen Huihui, and he is currently a technician in the Guangbei North Application Workshop.
He is the only young man born in the 90s who has won this honor in the Guangzhou Railway Group's 2020 "Guangzhou Iron Craftsman" selection.
What is even more surprising is that it only took him five years to complete the transformation from an apprentice to the chief technician of the Guangzhou Railway Group.
Willing to be the "Ruzi Niu"
When Chen Huihui first entered the road, he was very confused because his major at school was not a vehicle major.
In the new approach college student training class organized by this section, a passage from the head teacher in class helped him find his direction in life.
He said: "Many of our leaders have grown up through technical competitions, and they have moved from front-line workers to management positions."
To this end, Chen Huihui set a five-year goal for himself, starting from scratch.

In order to grasp the knowledge of railway freight cars as soon as possible, as long as he is free, he will either flip through the training car with the technical regulations, or repeat the movements of bending and bowing his head countless times to ponder the pace of the car inspection.
He never missed any opportunity to work personally, and humbly learned from the foreman and masters.
The masters who saw this "post-90s" have studied so deeply, they are all willing to teach the car inspection experience accumulated for decades.
Zhong Xiaoming, who once served as the foreman of Chen Huihui, talked about him, his eyes were still shining: "Chen Huihui is not tall, not good at words, and what dirty work, he is rushing to do it. A young man in his 20s, often after get off work I was so tired that my legs were weak and I walked against the wall."
After a year of hard work, Chen Huihui learned many ways to detect and deal with vehicle failures.
In 2014, he won the first place in the all-around truck inspector in the vocational skills competition held in this section, and was specially hired as a technician.
Dare to be a pioneer
After that, the three years of Chen Huihui's competition were not smooth.
Although it performed extremely well in the 2017 Guangzhou Railway Group's actual competition, it lost its reputation due to insufficient theoretical preparation.
Recalling that unforgettable experience, he said: “When I was changing the brake shoes during a training session, a 60 mm long wound was scraped from my back by a wire. I still gritted my teeth and continued to train.”
From then on, Chen Huihui continued to hone his will.
Even this little time of sleep every day was compressed by him. When he was sleepy, he would drink a cup of espresso. He broke down the technical regulations and memorized it sentence by sentence. A 400-page notebook was actually filled with two large books, and his theoretical foundation was also very good. The world is solid.
Finally, an opportunity to make up for the loss of the three-year competition came.
Chen Huihui was selected by the group to participate in the 2017 All-Road Vehicle System Professional Skills Competition.
Before the game, the Guangzhou Railway Group was unfavorable in drawing lots. It was arranged to play until 7 pm. The faults that should be seen at a glance during the day, can only be found with a flashlight at night.
Chen Huihui succeeded in counterattack with the last practical project "train inspection" and won the second prize of Almighty. He was awarded a series of honorary titles such as "Locomotive Medal", "All Road Technical Expert", "All Road Young Post Expert" and so on.

Willing to be the real strength of the "old scalper"
The young man did not lose himself in the face of honor.
In his daily work, he still strictly abides by the relevant operating procedures like a new apprentice, and puts an end to the hidden dangers that affect driving safety in the bud.
Ke Yuwei, the section chief of the Vocational Education Section, said: "After five years of training, Chen Huihui's comprehensive ability has been greatly improved and he has moved into a managerial position."
Under his influence, the workshop opened a mobile "micro-group class", through the form of online interaction, "one-on-one" help and education for weak youth and new college students.
Nowadays, a large number of business leaders have emerged in his workshop.
An inspection hammer, an ingenuity.
Chen Huihui never compares himself to a model worker or advanced.
He modestly said that Wang Jun, winner of the "National Model Worker" and Ding Fei, winner of the "Railway May 4th Youth Medal", these young models are more worthy of learning from him and those around him.
