ENOC Group announced yesterday the conclusion of a partnership agreement with Nakheel to open 14 mobile fuel stations in Dubai, with the aim of providing customers with fast, convenient and simplified refueling services, noting that it has recently opened the first of these stations in Dragon Mart 2.

The group explained in a statement that the new station was specifically designed to meet the needs of residents of residential complexes near Dragon Mart 2, such as International City, and visitors to the Dragon Mart Center.

The station includes eight fuel pumps that allow fuel to be supplied on both sides of the station, and it provides “special 95” and “excellent 98” gasoline, in addition to diesel, and includes a “machine” for selling snacks and drinks.

The new station has a capacity of 90,000 liters and can supply 1,200 cars with fuel per day.

The new station in "Dragon Souk 2" was provided with solar panels, in addition to being equipped with advanced technologies to enhance energy efficiency, such as the vapor recovery system, which works to recover 70% of the fumes emitted from the pump and fuel tank.

The station is also equipped with a fuel tank that is installed above the ground, allowing for easy preparation, installation and re-assembly of the station's components when needed.

The tank comes with double walls, in line with the international standards of "Underwriters Laboratories" (UL) for safety and security.

According to ENOC's statement, the next mobile station will be in International City, which is scheduled to open during the second quarter of next year.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, CEO of ENOC Group, said, "The pilot project for the mobile fuel station in (Arabian Ranches) has achieved remarkable success, and in partnership with (Nakheel), we will work to provide more mobile fuel stations in various parts of the Emirate of Dubai, according to the needs of population and demand.

For his part, Omar Khouri, CEO of Asset Management at Nakheel, said: "We are constantly seeking new ways to enhance services related to our malls."
