According to incomplete statistics, in 2020, the annual output value of the comprehensive utilization of straw and livestock and poultry breeding waste (hereinafter referred to as the "two utilization") industry in Anhui will exceed 40 billion yuan, and there will be 50 enterprises with an annual output value of more than 100 million yuan; annual profits and taxes will be 3 billion yuan. More than 43,000 employees are employed.
A total of 1,049 standardized purchasing and storage centers have been built in Anhui province to achieve full coverage of standardized purchasing and storage centers in major grain producing areas.
50 biomass power plants have been built, with an installed capacity of 1.46 million kilowatts.

Yang Zengquan said that in 2025, the comprehensive utilization rate of straw in Anhui Province will not be less than 95%, and the comprehensive utilization rate of livestock and poultry breeding waste will not be less than 85%.
