A “massacre” continues in the cryptocurrency markets due to speculation

The cryptocurrency market witnessed a “massacre” yesterday and until this morning, Saturday, and it is still continuing until now, with no significant reasons other than speculation. 

The cryptocurrency bitcoin fell 12.14%, according to agencies, to $ 47,176.09 on Saturday, losing more than six thousand dollars from the previous close.

Bitcoin, the world's largest and most popular cryptocurrency, is down 31.6% from the year's peak of $69,000 hit on November 10.

Ether fell 10.14% to $3,794.61 on Saturday, losing more than $400 from its previous close.

Other currencies declined by rates ranging between 15% and 20%, and some of them exceeded this percentage, as the currencies of Ripple, Dash, Sheba and Dogecoin decreased by rates exceeding 20%.
