Sheikh Mohammed Saeed moved with his family from Karachi, one of the states of Pakistan, to the Emirate of Dubai in 1954, where he experienced some difficulties in living at that time. They did not have electricity in the homes yet, and water reached them with great difficulty.

Despite the difficult living conditions at that time, Sheikh Mohammed Saeed insisted on establishing a perfume empire in Dubai, and thus proceeding from it to the world, as he remained committed to his dream and strived for it.

Sheikh Mohammed Saeed started his dream with a small shop in Deira Dubai near Dubai Creek, and because Sheikh Mohammed Saeed was a young man at the time, newly coming from Pakistan, he did not find anyone to support him or finance his dream. He relied on himself to bring raw materials for perfumes and manufacture them. He used to travel to many countries in order to bring raw materials from the best sources and work on them until the time came to open his first small shop, the first shop for selling and manufacturing perfumes in Dubai in 1954.

 "Mohammed Ali Saeed", Executive Director of the "Sheikh Mohammed Saeed Perfumes" group, tells that his grandfather, the founder of the group, enjoyed the care and attention of Sheikh Rashid Al Maktoum, may God have mercy on him, and he encouraged and urged him to continue trading and manufacturing perfumes that he excelled in, even buying his favorite perfumes from him. Perfume distribution started with French perfumes and Dhammasons became one of the largest distributors of French perfumes serving perfumes in the entire Middle East region.
