China News Service, Beijing, December 1 (Reporter Ruan Yulin) The Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China reported on the 1st that with the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, the second round of the fifth batch of central ecological and environmental protection inspections was fully launched.

Set up 4 central ecological and environmental protection inspection teams (hereinafter referred to as the inspection teams) to carry out inspections in Heilongjiang, Guizhou, Shaanxi, and Ningxia 4 provinces (regions).

  According to reports, four central ecological and environmental protection inspection teams have been set up. The team leaders are Huang Longyun, Li Jiaxiang, Liu Weiping, Song Xiuyan, etc., who are responsible for inspecting and stationing in Heilongjiang, Guizhou, Shaanxi, and Ningxia.

  According to the requirements, the inspection team always adheres to the system concept, adheres to a strict keynote, adheres to problem orientation, and adheres to precise, scientific, and legal inspections.

Key supervision of the implementation of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council’s decision and deployment of ecological environment protection by the provincial party committee and government; the implementation and accountability of ecological environment protection responsibilities of relevant provincial departments, and the implementation of ecological environment protection work by prefectural and municipal party committees and governments.

  The central ecological and environmental protection inspection team will be stationed for approximately one month.

During the stationing period, each inspection team will set up contact numbers and post office boxes to accept letters and calls from the inspected objects regarding ecological and environmental protection.

  On August 25, 2021, the second round of the fourth batch of central ecological and environmental protection inspectors was fully launched.

Set up 7 central ecological and environmental protection inspection teams to conduct inspections on the five provinces of Jilin, Shandong, Hubei, Guangdong, and Sichuan, as well as the two central enterprises of China Nonferrous Mining Group Co., Ltd. and China National Gold Group Co., Ltd.

Each inspection team accepted more than 28,000 reports from the transferred public, and verified a number of outstanding ecological and environmental problems.
