On November 28th, with the excavation of the surrounding rock at the last 1 meter of the arch, the left line of the Chengdu-Lanzhou Railway, the extra-long and extremely high-risk Yuelongmen Tunnel, was successfully penetrated.

The Chengdu-Lanzhou Railway is an important part of the "Lan-Guang" corridor of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway planning network. It is designed to have a speed of 200 kilometers per hour and is another "sky road" built on a plateau with an altitude of 3000 meters after the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.

The Yuelongmen Tunnel is located in Gaochuan Township, Anzhou District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, and Tumen County, Maoxian County, Aba Prefecture. It crosses the Longmen Mountain Range and has a maximum buried depth of 1445 meters. Meters, it is one of the most difficult cross-ridge tunnels under construction in China, and it is difficult to design and construct.

It is understood that the completion of the left line of the Yuelongmen Tunnel will improve the ventilation conditions of the gas tunnel construction on the right line of the tunnel, reduce the safety risks in the construction of high gas work areas, and create favorable conditions for the right line of logistics transportation and multi-face industry construction.

The left line is first penetrated as a paving channel, and the right line tunnel can be constructed at the same time as the Mianmao section of the Chenglan Railway.
