Be careful, the new health protocol applies from this Monday to try to contain the fifth wave of Covid-19.

It is the return of the mask in closed places and respect for social distancing: no huge changes, but some sectors still fear an economic impact.

It is the great return of the mask in all closed places, to counter the fifth wave of coronavirus in France.

Until now, when you went to the movies, it was advisable to wear it.

From today, it is mandatory again.

Bad news for cinema operators: "We fear a further drop in attendance," one of them confided to the economy department of Europe 1.

Worried nightclubs

This concern is shared by nightclub operators where the mask is also mandatory. "It is a disaster for us" declares Christian Jouy, general delegate of the national union of discotheques. For him, the return of the mask is an aberration. "Today, I do not understand the attitude of the government: to impose the wearing of the mask on a dance floor, that does not make sense", he is irritated. "We are in a situation which is completely ubiquitous. Why have you discussed so long with the Ministry of Health before the reopening of discos to arrive there today? Frankly, it is incomprehensible."

Another sector affected by the obligation to wear a mask: Christmas markets, even if they are held outdoors.

But no fear of drop in attendance for the moment on the side of exhibitors.

The health pass could also be requested.

Finally, in certain markets, such as Strasbourg, mediators will walk the aisles to remind visitors of the barrier gestures.
