At present, the province's installed power capacity has reached 40.3 million kilowatts, an average annual growth rate of 13%; the proportion of clean energy installed capacity, new energy installed capacity, and non-aqueous renewable energy consumption all rank first in the country.

As my country’s ecological barrier area, Qinghai has 217 natural reserves of various types, accounting for about 35% of the province’s land area; grassland area accounts for 10.73% of the country’s total area, forest area accounts for 1.41% of the country’s total area, and the total wetland area is 8,143,600 hectares, accounting for the country’s total area. 15.19%, ranking first in the country.

As the most influential ecological adjustment zone in the world, Qinghai has a huge potential for carbon sequestration and sinking.
