Before the system was revised to allow drones to fly in a wider range, manufacturers are actively developing aircraft that specialize in functions not only for shooting images but also for logistics and disasters.

Regarding drones, it is currently possible to fly only within the visible range in places where there are people, but by the end of next year, it will be possible to fly the aircraft even in situations where it can not be seen, with the permission of the government etc. It is a prospect.

Prior to this, development is becoming active among manufacturers, and a venture company in Tokyo has developed a machine specialized in logistics and started a service to deliver food and daily necessities in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture.

This drone can carry up to 5 kg of luggage and delivers goods to a point a few kilometers away from the village base with a shipping fee of 300 yen at a time.

The company aims to expand these services to other regions in the future.

Keisuke Taji, CEO of Aeronext, said, "Drones are most likely to be active in the logistics field. We would like to develop such a delivery mechanism in each region."

In addition, manufacturers in Akita Prefecture are developing drones specializing in disaster response.

In addition to being able to fly in the rain and strong winds, it can also be equipped with speakers to call on residents to evacuate.

Overseas manufacturers such as China are leading the way in drone development in terms of technology and price, but the focus is also on whether domestic drones can be rewound through development that specializes in functions.
