The stable production of more than 100,000 tons for five consecutive years, and the cumulative oil production of more than 600,000 tons, demonstrated the great potential of the "two-three combination" enhanced oil recovery technology in similar reservoirs.

  The Badaowan Formation reservoir in the 530 well block of Xinjiang Oilfield is the first conglomerate reservoir deployed by PetroChina using the “two-three combination” model. The development characteristics of "two highs and one low" with high water content and low oil production rate have the problems of dispersing the remaining oil underground and stabilizing production.

Under the unified deployment of China National Petroleum Corporation, Xinjiang Oilfield, after preliminary demonstration, determined that the Badaowan Formation reservoir in the 530 well block will adopt the "two-three combination" three-dimensional development method to achieve the purpose of stratigraphic succession and three-dimensional production.

  According to reports, the “two-three combination” three-dimensional development model, “two” means “secondary development”, “three” means “tertiary oil recovery”, that is, “combination of secondary development and tertiary oil recovery technology”, which can greatly improve oil reservoirs. Ultimate recovery factor.

Since the reservoir adopted the “two-three-combination” three-dimensional development model in 2017, the daily oil production of a single well has increased by three times, and the daily oil production of the reservoir has risen from 160 tons before the implementation to a maximum of 479 tons, which has a significant increase in production.

  In addition, after 5 years of continuous technical research by scientific researchers, Xinjiang Oilfield has also formed the heterogeneity characterization of conglomerate reservoirs, the development of high-efficiency oil displacement systems, the evaluation of the potential of the “two-three-combination” of water flooding and chemical flooding, and A series of basic theories and technological innovations, such as the conversion timing demonstration, provide a new way for similar oil reservoirs to stabilize and increase the production of crude oil, and effectively promote the development of the Xinjiang Oilfield’s high-permeability conglomerate reservoirs to greatly enhance the oil recovery technology. The foundation for continued stable production in the old oilfields has been laid.

  At present, scientific researchers in Xinjiang Oilfield have completed the binary combination flooding scheme based on the completion of the waterflooding task of the Badaowan Formation reservoir in the 530 well area.

According to the plan design, it is expected that in 2022, the cumulative oil production will be 1.599 million tons, and the recovery rate will be improved by more than 15.1%, and the reservoir development effect will be further improved.
