With Daimler, BMW, Porsche, Ford, Audi, Volkswagen and Hyundai as shareholders, the Ionity network already includes 400 fast-charging stations located near European highways.

This consortium has just announced the second part of its development plan to reach 1,000 locations by 2025, which represents in all nearly 7,000 terminals.

For now, Ionity allows electric cars equipped with the 800V architecture (such as the Porsche Taycan, Kia EV6 or Hyundai Ioniq 5) to have a maximum charging power of 350 kW.
