On November 24, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism issued the "Measures for Strengthening the Support of Cultural and Tourism Enterprises to Promote the Recovery of the Industry", and introduced 11 measures, including supporting travel agencies to expand the source of tourists, optimizing the supply of cultural and tourism products, and supporting the provision of tourist hotels Upgrade and other aspects, to help cultural and tourism enterprises alleviate difficulties.
It is worth noting that Chengdu will rely on the Chengdu App of Cultural Tourism to issue 2 million yuan of cultural travel consumer vouchers for terminal consumers of cultural travel products.
The "Work Measures" mentioned that Chengdu will actively support travel agencies to expand their source of customers.
For travel agencies that rank among the top 30 in total number of foreign tourists in Chengdu in 2021 and have received no less than 20,000 foreign tourists, according to the ranking order, the first to 10th will be rewarded with 200,000 yuan and the 11th-20th. 150,000 yuan will be awarded, and 100,000 yuan will be awarded to the 21st-30th.
In 2022, through chartered flights and special trains, travel agencies that organize foreign tourists to Chengdu with an attendance rate of more than 50% will be given a one-time reward of 30,000 yuan for each flight (trip).
Travel agencies that comply with the incentive policy of the provincial source organization are given priority to enjoy the provincial incentive policy.
In terms of supporting online travel platforms, it provides tourists with 2 or more travel services, and sells Chengdu accommodation, scenic spots, transportation and other travel products for tourists outside Chengdu. In 2021, the number of orders for Chengdu travel products is ranked among the top 3 and the total number of orders is higher than that of 2020. Online tourism comprehensive marketing platform companies that have increased by more than 20% year-on-year will be awarded RMB 2 million for the first place, RMB 1.5 million for the second place, and RMB 1 million for the third place.
In terms of supporting the creation of tourism brands, a one-time reward of 10 million yuan will be given to newly created national 5A-level tourist attractions, national tourist resorts, and national tourism demonstration areas.
It is newly rated as a national tourism and leisure block and a national key rural tourism village (town), and a one-time reward of 1 million yuan will be given.
In addition, in terms of supporting the creation of new cultural and tourism products, for tourist attractions, cultural expo venues, performing arts venues, cultural and tourism enterprises, etc., create outstanding tourism performance projects (plays) that promote Tianfu culture and reflect Chengdu’s humanistic customs. After a unified organization review and approval, The subsidy is based on 10% of the actual investment in the previous year, and the maximum single item does not exceed 2 million yuan.
Support cultural tourism enterprises to actively develop cultural tourism products and tourism route products demanded by the market. Recently, a batch of winter ice and snow tourism boutique routes have been launched. The newly developed “interactive, experiential, immersive” cultural tourism new scenes and new business formats will be included in priority "The Most Chengdu·New Scene of Life Aesthetics".
