The case of smuggling live and fresh seafood investigated by the Fuzhou Customs Anti-smuggling Bureau
On January 11, the Fuzhou Customs Anti-smuggling Bureau launched an operation against the smuggling of live and fresh seafood, arrested 9 suspects, and verified the suspected smuggling of live lobster and other seafood over 900 tons, with a case value of about 360 million yuan.
The case of smuggling milk powder investigated by the Anti-smuggling Bureau of Guangzhou Customs
On March 22, the Anti-Smuggling Bureau of Guangzhou Customs organized the "Struggle 04" anti-smuggling campaign to severely crack down on the smuggling of milk powder and other products through online channels, and knocked out 4 gangs that smuggled milk powder through cross-border e-commerce, delivery and other channels, and arrested crimes. There were 15 suspects, and a total of 174,000 cans of imported milk powder without legal compliance procedures were seized, with a case value of about 600 million yuan.
Shenzhen Customs Anti-Smuggling Bureau Launches Special Investigation and Seizure Operation "Mission 2021-09"
On April 14, the Shenzhen Customs Anti-Smuggling Bureau launched a special investigation operation, destroying a large criminal network that smuggled imported cosmetics, milk powder and other commodities into the country, arrested 17 suspects, and seized various cosmetics, milk powder and other goods suspected of smuggling into the country 67 Tons, the case value is more than 200 million yuan.

A case of smuggling moon cakes in Dongguan investigated by the Anti-smuggling Bureau of Huangpu Customs
On August 26, the Laogang Customs Anti-smuggling Branch of the Huangpu Customs Anti-smuggling Bureau filed a case to investigate the smuggling of imported moon cakes by a company in Dongguan City. One suspect was arrested and more than 11,000 boxes of moon cakes, milk powder, vitamins, and bird’s nest were seized.
According to the General Administration of Customs, the above-mentioned smuggled products may be incorrectly labeled, or their origin is unknown, or they have not been inspected by relevant departments. Once they enter the market, they will pose risks to consumers' health and safety.
The customs reminds relevant industries and employees to strictly abide by national laws and regulations to carry out import and export trade and operate legally; consumers in general should purchase goods from formal channels and do not purchase goods from unknown sources.
