  Chengdu Shuangliu's first sea-rail combined freight train departs

  Goods can arrive within 5 to 7 days

  On November 23, the sea-rail intermodal train from Chengdu Shuangliu International Air-Railway Port via Qinzhou Port to Southeast Asia departed.

The cargo on this train comes from a pharmaceutical company in Chengdu. It will depart from Shuangliu and be transported by rail to Qinzhou Port, and then by sea to the Philippines. The total transportation time is 5-7 days.

Compared with the original use of cars to transport goods to Luzhou or Yibin, to Shanghai via the river, and then to the destination by sea, the economic and time costs are greatly reduced.

  "The opening of this train symbolizes that the intermodal port has achieved the organic integration of international aviation routes, international railway train networks, and maritime international routes, and has realized the perfection of the multimodal transport system of'air, rail, and public water'." Chengdu Airport Zheng Shuangli, deputy general manager of Modern Service Industry Development Co., Ltd., said that Intermodal Port will provide export-oriented enterprises with diversified logistics solutions.
