Very popular with investors, the very young American manufacturer Rivian is already valued at just over 85 billion dollars, while its first vehicles have just left the production lines.

Specializing in electric SUVs and pickups, Ford has invested nearly 500 million in its capital.

While the automotive world thought that the two firms would collaborate to develop a common technical base, the brand with the blue oval communicated that it will ultimately not be the case.

Ford certainly intends to increase its production of zero-emission vehicles to get closer to Tesla, but it seems that Rivian's technical choices, very different from his, have motivated this decision, which however does not change the collaboration between the two builders.
