On November 23, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced that Washington would introduce new sanctions against those involved in the implementation of Nord Stream 2.

State Department spokesman Ned Price noted that the United States will continue to implement restrictive measures against the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
