In exactly one week, Vienna is due to host further discussions on Iran's nuclear program.

As this meeting approached, several countries - including France - were concerned about the rise of Tehran's nuclear capacities.

It is in this tense context that the boss of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, is expected at the beginning of the week in Tehran.

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, goes to Iran with worrying figures.

The Islamic Republic's stock of enriched uranium is now twelve times greater than the authorized limit and Iran has started to enrich uranium to 60% which does not correspond to a civilian nuclear program.

In addition, the IAEA is alarmed at not being able to access sites that it considers sensitive.

Board of Governors

This week, the International Atomic Energy Agency will meet its Board of Governors in Vienna and it is also in the Austrian capital that discussions are due to resume, on November 29, between Iran, the United States, China, Russia, France, UK, and Germany.

It is about trying to resuscitate the nuclear deal concluded in 2015 but which then derailed when

Donald Trump's

United States

withdrew from it

and reinstated the sanctions against Tehran.

Not in the right direction

 "

Time is running out

" and Iran "

is not going in the right direction

" declared the US special envoy for Iran Robert Malley on Friday.

Tehran will have to show its "

will

" to advance in the negotiations, estimated

in the newspaper

Le Monde

the head of French diplomacy Jean-Yves Le Drian.
