The Swedish Assa Abloy Group, which specializes in control technologies for electronic systems for gates, laid the foundation stone for its first facility in the National Industries Park in Dubai.

A statement issued yesterday stated that the new facility, which will be the group's headquarters in the Middle East, India and Africa, extends over an area of ​​24,000 square meters, and includes a factory with an area of ​​6000 square meters, a warehouse of 2,000 square meters, in addition to a showroom of 800 square meters. Showcasing a comprehensive range of the company's advanced products.

The Director of the National Industries Complex, Abdullah Al Jasmi, said: “We are always committed to developing and improving the industrial sector, in a way that contributes to achieving self-sufficiency, stimulating innovation, and raising flexibility and competitiveness of the economy, and we are confident that the new facility of the (Assa Abloy) Group will enhance our goal in the Industries Complex The national, and the state as a whole, in raising local manufacturing capabilities.”

For his part, Head of Opening Solutions for the Middle East, India and Africa at "ASA Abloy", Mauro Felice, said, "The establishment of the new facility for (Assa Abloy) is in line with our commercial objectives, as well as keeping pace with the strategic initiatives of the UAE, and serving the objectives of the National Industries Park. The construction of this facility will be completed in June 2022.”
