“We have not received any notification from Gazprom about the possible termination of gas supplies to Moldova.
Therefore, we will be able to comment on this document only after we get acquainted with it, ”said Merlich.
Earlier, the official representative of Gazprom, Sergei Kupriyanov, said that the company had notified Moldova that it would stop gas supplies in 48 hours due to the failure of the Moldovan side to fulfill its contractual obligations.
On October 29, Moldova and Gazprom agreed to extend the contract for five years, the parties used the formula proposed by the Moldovan side.
