According to the website of the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration on the 20th, the State Administration of Market Supervision has filed and investigated 43 cases of undeclared illegal undertakings in accordance with the Anti-Monopoly Law of the People’s Republic of China.

Upon investigation, the above-mentioned cases all violated Article 21 of the Anti-Monopoly Law of the People's Republic of China, and constituted failure to declare the illegal implementation of the concentration of undertakings in accordance with the law, and the assessment found that they did not have the effect of eliminating or restricting competition.

Recently, the State Administration of Market Supervision made administrative penalty decisions in accordance with Articles 48 and 49 of the "Anti-Monopoly Law of the People's Republic of China", imposing a fine of 500,000 yuan on the enterprises involved in the case.

  With the in-depth advancement of anti-monopoly law enforcement, the awareness of corporate operators' concentration declarations has continued to increase, proactively sorting out and reporting the concentration of operators that have not previously been declared illegally implemented in accordance with the law, and actively cooperating with investigations.

The cases announced this time are all transactions that should have been declared but not declared in the past. There are a large number of cases, a wide range of companies, and a long transaction time span.

Dealing with undeclared cases in accordance with the law can not only ensure fair participation of various market entities in competition, maintain the authority of the anti-monopoly law, and continuously optimize a fair, transparent, and predictable competition environment; but also effectively urge enterprises to enhance their compliance awareness and capabilities, and promote enterprises And the industry continues to develop healthily.
