Hauts-de-Seine remains one of the most attractive departments of the French real estate market.

They nevertheless experienced between 2019 and 2020, i.e. during the heart of the health crisis, a drop of more than 40% in the number of real estate transactions carried out, reports Actu Hauts-de-Seine.

According to data from the Drimki site, the department would thus be the most impacted in Ile-de-France.

Declines in real estate transactions observed elsewhere ranged from 5% to 25%.

Asnières, the third most attractive town in Ile-de-France

Some towns in the department have nevertheless continued to attract buyers. This is the case of Asnières-sur-Seine, which in 2020 became the third most attractive city in Ile-de-France behind Paris and Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, with 1,553 transactions completed. It is followed in this classification by another town in the department: Boulogne-Billancourt.

During the last 12 months, the specialized site has however noted a 6.5% increase in property prices in the Hauts-de-Seine.

The trend is equivalent to that recorded over the same period in Val-de-Marne (6.4%) and Val-d'Oise (6.5%).

This average price increase even climbs to 9.6% in Seine-Saint-Denis.

Despite the health restrictions, these departments would therefore have retained their attractiveness.
