Russia has reduced investments in US government securities by $ 86 million

According to Interfax, citing data from the US Treasury Department, Russia in September 2021 had US government securities in the amount of $ 3.918 billion.

It is noted that at the end of September Russia owned long-term government securities in the amount of $ 204 million against $ 203 million in August.

Currently, the maximum number of US Treasury bonds in the hands of Japan and China, whose investments in September amounted to $ 1.299 and $ 1.047 trillion, respectively.

In May, it was reported that Russia had sharply cut its investments in the US national debt.
