The soldiers try to make barely awake Palestinian children smile by making them say "cheese".

Thirteen children, boys and girls, most of them young.

Their mother intervenes.

An activist from the Israeli NGO B'tselem films the scene.

The facts date back to September 3.

Shortly after 8 p.m.

The soldiers have just broken into the home of the Deana family in the Palestinian-controlled Hebron area.

One of the soldiers explains that it is necessary to wake up and photograph the children to identify stone throwers.

The strongest army in the Middle East as always said, #Israeli soldiers Storme a home in #Hebron in the #West_Bank and WAKE UP more than 12 children in the middle of the nights to take photos for them and ask them to smile.

Last June, the Israeli army indicated its intention to no longer enter the homes of Palestinians at night for documentation missions that can be carried out in the West Bank without the slightest legal document.

For

B'tselem

, the anti-colonization NGO, this incident proves that for the Israeli army, any Palestinian, even child, is a potential delinquent.

Reaction of an IDF spokesperson: the officer was reprimanded.

And the instructions have been re-explained to prevent this kind of case from happening again.
