The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project announces the establishment of a "free zone" to store valuable assets

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Aviation City Corporation, the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in Dubai South announced the launch of a “free zone” consisting of a “fortified safe” to store unique artworks and precious physical assets In secure facilities within a designated duty-free zone near the Dubai South Private Aviation Building.  

The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project has commissioned "Athens Security" to develop the project in two phases on an area of ​​17,000 square meters next to the private aviation building.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Khalifa Al Zaffin, CEO of Dubai Aviation City Corporation, and Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, Tahnoon Saif, along with senior officials from Athens Security and the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project.

The "fortified safe" can be accessed directly from the private aviation building or from the airfields, in Dubai South, where it provides a variety of advanced guarding and security services, and provides its customers with safe deposit boxes that can be controlled automatically using a robot, in addition to safes of medium and large sizes.

There are also private, ultra-secure rooms, and rooms for storing artworks, which are equipped with the latest temperature and humidity control systems and fire extinguishing systems. The project also includes halls, meeting rooms and business offices of different sizes.
