Of the 65 vehicles selected last July by the 2022 Car of the Year jury, 25 models were discarded because they were not ready on time, or because they were simple updates, or because they were 'they just weren't marketed in Europe.
This year, we can notice that three Chinese models appear in the list: they are the MG EHS and Marvel R, as well as the Aiways U5.
The 7 finalists will be announced on November 29, while the big winner will be revealed next February. Usually, the proclamation is made at the Geneva Motor Show but this one being once again canceled, the place will be known within a few weeks.
