An ever more expensive refueling.

The tariffs of road fuels sold in France have evolved in dispersed order last week, but remain at high levels and close to their records, according to official figures released on Monday.

The liter of diesel was worth on average 1.5577 euros, up from the previous week (1.5493 euros), according to weekly figures from the Ministry of Ecological Transition arrested on Friday.

It is close but slightly below the record which was reached in mid-October (1.5583 euros), shortly before the government announced an "inflation compensation" of 100 euros for more than 38 million people. the rising cost of living.

Rebound in the price of a barrel of oil

The super SP 95-E10, on the other hand, fell very slightly last week, to 1.6327 euros on average, or 0.31 cents less, returning from a new historic high.

SP 95 gasoline also fell to 1.6590 euros, down 0.35 cents.

Prices at the pump follow the price of a barrel of oil, which has rebounded sharply in recent months with the global economic recovery and still limited supplies from certain producing countries.

The prices thus moved above 80 dollars a barrel Monday morning against less than 45 dollars a year ago.

Prices also obey several other factors (euro-dollar exchange rate, level of stocks of petroleum products and demand, taxes, etc.).
