Car agencies revealed plans to launch new models of electric cars in the country's markets, starting in 2022, confirming the high demand for electric cars.

Officials of these agencies told «Emirates Today», that initiatives and steps have been implemented to contribute to reducing the cost of using electric cars, foremost of which is the provision of charging stations within showrooms and service centers, with the possibility of purchasing home charging stations, and developing new battery systems to obtain a longer driving range. At a lower cost, noting that the transport sector in the country is witnessing required infrastructure transformations, including the establishment of dedicated charging stations.
