Recently, Gansu, which has entered the heating season, ushered in cold and snowy weather. The ±800 kV Qilian converter station under the jurisdiction of the State Grid Gansu Maintenance Company, the 750 kV Dunhuang Substation, Mogao Substation, and Lanzhou East Substation all have snow cover. The changes in Shazhou, Ganzhou, and Hexi were all accompanied by strong winds and sandstorms.
The company launched an emergency plan for abnormal weather and organized operation and maintenance personnel to conduct special inspections of primary and secondary equipment to ensure the safe and stable operation of Gansu main grid equipment.
