Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance Hong Nam-ki said today, "It is necessary to check and consider whether the content raised in relation to subsidies such as Article 10, Article 25, and Article 50 or compensation for losses (small business owners) is absolutely necessary and whether it is possible to support it in terms of financial resources." (11th) said.

Deputy Prime Minister Hong said at the plenary meeting of the National Assembly's Planning and Finance Committee today, when Rep. Seo Byung-soo, a member of the National Strength of the People, asked if he was opposed to the National Disaster Fund, he replied, "From the perspective of finance, all such proposals are not easy."

The 10 trillion won mentioned by Deputy Prime Minister Hong is the total national quarantine support fund promoted by the Democratic Party of Korea, 25 trillion won is the national disaster support fund for presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung of the same party, and 50 trillion won is the People's Power presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol's compensation for small business losses. They seem to refer to each of their promises.

Deputy Prime Minister Hong also said about the deferral of tax payment, which is mentioned as a way to raise funds for the entire nation's quarantine subsidy, "the requirements under the National Tax Collection Act are very strict, so only those that meet the requirements can be done."

He added, "I think it is possible to extend the tax payment deadline for various difficult classes when it meets the requirements recognized by law, but it is impossible to extend the payment deadline beyond the requirements," he added.
