is an apartment building in Geomdan New Town, Incheon, which started construction in 2019.
About 3,400 households are expected to move into the three complexes next year, and they climbed up to a maximum of 79.5 meters, exceeding the 20 meters high, which is the standard reviewed by the Cultural Heritage Administration, to obscure the panoramic view of Jangneung in Gimpo.
At the request of the Cultural Heritage Committee, which is considering the treatment plan for these apartments, the Cultural Heritage Administration's Royal Relics Headquarters has come up with an alternative after technical analysis.
In some cases, it was proposed to demolish 20 apartments that are being built with more than 20 floors, leaving only the first floor in some cases, and to plant a tree at least 30 to 58 meters high at the entrance to the royal tomb or the surrounding ridge to make the apartment invisible.
However, large trees of this size are not easy to obtain, and there is a strong objection that they can quickly go bad if transplanted.
In addition, construction companies oppose the plan to demolish high-rise buildings for reasons such as safety of apartments, and are in the position to come up with other alternatives.

About 3,400 prospective tenants, who are suffering from the poor handling of construction companies, permitting authorities, and the Cultural Heritage Administration, plan to hold a meeting on the 14th to discuss future countermeasures.
