Emirates Airlines today announced the opportunity for aviation enthusiasts and collectors to place pre-orders for custom-designed furniture and unique collectibles made from the airline's first A380 aircraft, which was recently decommissioned.

The carrier explained in a statement that the collectibles include, for example, a coffee table made of the main wheel of the “A380” aircraft, a clock made of a wing fuel plate (original or polished metal), and the gold-plated Emirates logo in the first class cabin that appeared on the Countless Instagram posts as framed panels to hang on the wall.

For those interested in larger collectibles, there is the tail of the plane, which shows the flag of a country at a height of 24 meters.

These and other items can be designed and customized for collectors looking for unique pieces of aviation history.

Emirates has contracted Falcon Aircraft Recycling and its partner Wings Craft to responsibly recycle its retired A380 aircraft, recovering reusable materials and giving them new life through recycling and manufacturing, greatly reducing the environmental impact of the dismantling process. It reduces the amount of waste that goes to landfills.

Emirates will allocate a portion of the profits from the sale of all recycled and remanufactured materials from the first decommissioned A380 to the Emirates Airline Foundation, which helps disadvantaged children around the world.
