At the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of "Kansai Supermarket", the supermarket "OK" in the metropolitan area was integrated because there was a problem in counting the pros and cons over the approval of the management integration plan with the operating company such as Hankyu Hanshin Department Store. We have filed a provisional disposition with the court seeking an injunction against the procedure.

Regarding this, Koji Fukutani, president of Kansai Super, said, "There is no cloudiness at one point," and expressed the recognition that there was no problem with the procedure.

At the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Kansai Super at the end of last month, the proposal for a business merger with "H2O Retailing" was approved by a small margin, but OK, which intended to acquire Kansai Super, is treated as abstention. He filed a provisional disposition with the court seeking an injunction against the merger procedure, saying that the vote to be voted for was treated as a vote in favor.

Regarding this, President Fukutani of Kansai Super said at a press conference on the interim settlement of accounts on the 10th, "There is no cloudiness at all. There is no problem at all. The judgment has already been entrusted to the judiciary, and I would like to insist on its legitimacy and legality." I emphasized.

After that, he said, "I would like to aim to create a store that can be supported as the strongest supermarket alliance in Kansai," and reiterated his enthusiasm for the integration.

Kansai Super is scheduled to become a subsidiary of H2O on the 1st of next month, and the judicial decision will be watched as to whether the application for provisional disposition by OK will be accepted.
