Nanjing Yunjin: Inch of Jin Cun

Those who walk into the Jiangsu exhibition hall will notice at first glance a large-scale brocade work "Long and Weft Thousands and Autumns". The work is woven with patterns such as plum, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum and twelve stars, which contains rich traditional cultural connotations and auspicious and harmonious meanings.

Approaching the work, the opposite scene is clearly reflected through the tulle, and the beauty of Chinese white space is self-evident.

The craft used in this work is called makeup yarn. According to the staff, among the many weaving techniques of Nanjing Yunjin, makeup yarn weaving is the pinnacle of the complexity of the craft.

The silk brocade weaving processes such as "digging flower pan branches" and "make up gold and applying color" are carried out on the silk surface as thin as a cicada's wings. However, the silk surface is too light and can only be woven by craftsmen on a wooden loom in the cloud brocade building.

The overall weaving size of the "Long and Weft Thousands and Autumns" at the scene is the largest of the works at the time, each with a length of 330cm and a width of 79cm. The reinterpreted model works redefine the limits and creative methods of the weaving of Yunjin makeup and gauze.

Nanjing Yunjin is an outstanding representative of my country's excellent traditional culture. It is named after its splendor and beauty as the clouds in the sky. It has a history of more than 1,580 years.

"Brocade" is the representative of the highest level of technology in ancient silk fabrics. It takes more than 120 processes from pattern design to finished product, so there is the saying "inch gold and inch brocade".

Its shape and layout refer to a precious collection of the Yunjin Museum-the green gold of the Queen Xiaoduanxian of the Ming Dynasty. The makeup flower sleeves, shoulders, dragons, persimmon, satin, stand-up collar women's jacket, the top materials are also very exciting, using "real gold and silver" weaving thread and peacock feather thread, it can be called a cloud brocade "high-definition".

According to the staff, "This is the second time that the Yunjin Institute has participated in the CIIE. We hope that more foreign consumers will fall in love with Yunjin. Yangzhou Fragrant Powder: A Hundred Years Inheritance of Ancient Production

"The world's fragrance powder is like Yangzhou." According to Liu Xin, the representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Jiangsu Province Xie Fuchun's "fragrance powder oil" production technique, and deputy general manager of Jiangsu Xie Fuchun National Cosmetics Co., Ltd., Xie Fuchun's fragrance powder is different in shape and size. Duck eggs are similar, they are called "duck eggs powder", Zhang Ailing also mentioned it many times in her novels.

At the CIIE, Liu Xin also prepared a live performance of the ancient duck egg noodle making skills for the audience. “We are traditional hand-made, taking flowers as an example, picking sweet-scented osmanthus, roses, gardenias, etc. according to the season. Roses need to be picked early in the morning with dewy flower bones, and it takes a day to get infected.”

The fumigation of flowers is only the first step. According to the introduction, the main process includes two stages: ice scent (musk) fixation and first dew and then scenting.

Liu Xin said that Xie Fuchun uses natural raw materials such as pearl powder, grain starch, and egg white.

In terms of usage, duck egg powder is similar to the familiar loose powder, grabbed with a puff, and used for makeup.

The outer packaging includes both classical and exquisite lacquerware boxes and environmentally friendly carton packaging. Lacquerware is also the "business card" of Yangzhou and is a geographical indication product. The lacquerware box adds the cultural connotation of Xie Fuchun's duck egg powder.

"At the exhibition, we also obtained many business opportunities. Not only did many women buy our fragrance powder products on the spot, but also received many requests for cooperation and joining."

In addition, the Jiangsu booth also brought ten representative handicraft displays such as Yangzhou lacquerware, Dongtai hair embroidery, and Huishan clay figurines.

This paper is thick, abrasion-resistant, insect-resistant, smooth, and ivory-colored.

After being copied, it will turn into a bronze color and have an antique look due to being smoked by reusing it in a fire-burning house for a long time.
