Recently, Yin Zheng, President of Schneider Electric China, said in an interview with a reporter from China News Agency during the 4th CIIE that many companies now have a long-snake supply chain, spreading all over the world.

However, affected by the global pandemic of the new crown epidemic and low-carbon development goals, in the future, the supply chain will evolve towards a more flexible short-chain and small regional cycle.

On the one hand, this change can reduce long-distance transportation and reduce carbon emissions; on the other hand, it will increase the robustness or resilience of the supply chain and avoid chain disconnection.

At the same time, the supply chain will be more flexible and can flexibly adjust production content.
