The new board of directors of the Dubai Financial Market Company announced the appointment of Hamed Ahmed Ali as Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Financial Market.

Hamed Ahmed Ali holds an MBA from London Business School, a Bachelor of Applied Computing Science from Leeds Metropolitan University, and a Masters in Project Management.

Hamed Ahmed Ali served as Executive Vice President and Chief Markets Officer at the Dubai Financial Market, and CEO of Nasdaq Dubai.

His experience includes working as Chief Operating Officer of the Dubai Financial Center Operations.

Contributed to the development of activities and markets in both stock exchanges and the creation of new areas for growth, in addition to strengthening aspects of cooperation between the Dubai Financial Market and Nasdaq Dubai

Contributed to strengthening Nasdaq Dubai's position as one of the world's largest exchanges for the listing of Sukuk, and the largest exchange in the Middle East for listing US dollar bonds.

He played a key role in the development of the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015 and participated in a number of strategic development operations
