Beijing, November 3 (Reporter Han Xin) The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the operation of my country's Internet and related service industries in the first three quarters.
Data shows that from January to September this year, my country's Internet and related service industries showed a steady development trend, with business revenue and operating profits continuing to grow rapidly.
Internet companies above designated size completed business revenue of 1,163.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.4%, and the two-year average growth rate was 19.4%.
Realized operating profit of 96.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.8%.
In the first three quarters, my country's Internet industry R&D expenses grew steadily, and the growth rate remained at double digits.
The investment in research and development expenses was 52.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.9%, and the growth rate was 2 percentage points lower than that in the first half of the year, and still 0.7 percentage points higher than the same period last year.
In terms of business operations, information service revenue continued to grow.
In the first three quarters, a total of 641.4 billion yuan in information service revenue was completed, a year-on-year increase of 19.8%, and the growth rate was 4.4 percentage points higher than that in the first half of the year.
Among them, audio and video services are showing an accelerated growth trend.
The development of Internet platforms is active, and the growth of online sales and production logistics services is outstanding.
In the first three quarters, Internet platform services completed revenue of 418.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 41%.
Among them, the business income of online sales platform companies and production logistics platform service companies continued to grow rapidly, and platform companies that mainly provided manufacturing services grew steadily.
In addition, the development of Internet data services has accelerated.
In the first three quarters, the revenue of Internet data services including cloud services and big data services was 18.05 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.3%, and the growth rate was 3.9 percentage points higher than that in the first half of the year.
