Amidst transactions amounting to 1.3 billion dirhams

«Dubai Financial» at the highest level in 3 years

The Dubai Financial Market index closed yesterday, with a rise for the second day in a row, by 3.8%, recording its highest level in more than three years, as it breached the 3000 points barrier, and scored 3109.36 points, after winning 114 points at the end of the session, amid heavy trading that reached 1.3 billion dirhams.

Yesterday's session witnessed a rise in most of the traded shares, as the shares of 28 companies closed at a rise out of 34 companies that were traded, while the shares of four companies declined, and two companies remained stable.

The Dubai Financial Market Company’s share closed at a maximum rate, recording its highest rise in more than four years, with transactions exceeding 80 million shares, and thus the market’s share rose by about 29%, during two trading sessions, as it rose by 14.88% in yesterday’s session. While it rose by 14.15% by the end of yesterday's session.

The market share price increased from 1.02 dirhams to 1.39 dirhams, gaining 0.37 dirhams in just two sessions.

The share of «Emaar Properties» rose by 7.9% to 4.71 dirhams, with trading of nearly 103 million shares.

Shares of «Emaar Malls» increased by 6.5% to reach 2.31 dirhams, with a turnover of more than 48 million shares, while the share of «Emaar Development» increased by 3.7% to reach 4.24 dirhams, with a turnover of about 18 million shares.

«Union Properties» rose by 9% to reach 0.337 dirhams, with a transaction exceeding 126 million shares, while the «Dubai Islamic» share increased by 2.7% to reach 5.42 dirhams, with a transaction of nearly 25 million shares.

«Deyaar Development» shares was the most heavily traded stock, as it increased by 5% at 0.357 dirhams, to record the highest increase in 21 months, with a turnover of 143 million shares.
