The 2nd unit of the Sichuan Tianming Project At 19:56 on October 31st, it passed the 168-hour trial operation and put it into commercial operation, marking the completion and commissioning of Sichuan’s first two ultra-supercritical 1 million kilowatt generating units.
So far, the National Energy Group Sichuan Company has installed 5.66 million kilowatts of thermal power in operation, making it the largest thermal power generation company in Sichuan.

The National Energy Group Sichuan Tianming Project is located in Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province, at the Chengdu-De-Mian load center of Sichuan Power Grid. It is the first ultra-supercritical million kilowatt unit power station in Sichuan Province.
This project is the first landing project to implement the strategic cooperation agreement between the National Energy Group and the Sichuan Provincial Government, and construction began in 2015.
The construction of the project has planned overall optimization and quality control in terms of scheme design, equipment selection, operation control, etc., committed to wide-load and efficient power supply design, and ensured two 1 million units with "high parameters, large capacity, low energy consumption, and low emissions". The kilowatt ultra-supercritical unit was put into production with high quality.
The coal consumption for power supply can reach 270.77g/kWh, which is 50g of standard coal saved per kilowatt hour of electricity generated by the active thermal power units in Sichuan; the engineering environmental protection adopts the most advanced international and domestic environmental protection technology, and the designed emission concentration of soot, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides The standard squares are respectively less than 3.5 mg, 23.8 mg and 23 mg, achieving ultra-low emissions.
