  According to the person in charge of the relevant department of China Railway Group, this year's e-commerce golden week, the railway department comprehensively considers market demand, train operation, epidemic prevention and control and other factors, scientifically coordinate safety and transportation, and vigorously expand high-speed rail express, cold chain transportation, and express freight trains. And other special service projects, continue to improve the quality of railway express services.

  During the e-commerce Golden Week this year, the railway department will launch the following transportation service measures:

  The first is to accurately deploy capacity.

According to the market demand and the requirements of railway express for suitable goods, make full use of the high-speed rail express cabinet on the passenger EMU, reserved non-ticketing carriages and baggage carts on ordinary speed passenger cars, high-speed rail confirmed trains without passengers, and railway express goods For trains, the capacity can be allocated more accurately.

On an average day, 1135 high-speed rail passenger EMUs are arranged to use the surplus space in the carriages and the high-speed rail express cabinets to store express parcels. Among them, 35 EMUs are reserved for second-class seats without ticket sales; the trains are scheduled to run in the early morning, and all trains are free of passengers. There are 32 confirmed high-speed rail trains for express shipments; 240 to 320 regular-speed passenger trains are arranged to use luggage carts for express shipments; daily arrangements are arranged between Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other cities that run on the Beijing-Guangzhou, Beijing-Shanghai and other trunk railways There are 8 express cargo trains.

Express services have been added to the Nyingchi and Shannan stations along the Lhasa-Nyingchi railway. The number of express service stations for railways across the country has reached 688, covering 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including 249 high-speed rail stations.

Adapting to the characteristics of fresh food such as seafood, aquatic products, fruits, meat, poultry, eggs, milk, and cooked food products, actively expand the scope of cold chain transportation services, and greatly increase the delivery place, coverage, and source categories.

Make full use of railway express cargo trains to provide "warehouse-to-warehouse" bulk transportation services for express logistics companies and manufacturers of home appliances, daily chemicals, and food.

For goods transported by EMUs and luggage carts of general-speed passenger cars, the safety guarantee requirements of "receiving inspection, real-name registration, and aircraft security inspection" are strictly implemented.

General cargo is packaged in a variety of ways such as high-speed rail containers and special packaging boxes. Cold-chain cargoes are packaged in specially designed cold-chain boxes. All cargoes are packaged clean and tidy without polluting seats or affecting passengers.

After the transportation is completed, disinfection shall be carried out in strict accordance with the train epidemic prevention and control requirements.
